  • I am getting ready to move, how much notice do you need?

    A week is great. Sometimes Varsity Moving can work around your schedule. During June, July, and August, it is the busiest time for moving companies. Varsity Moving suggests booking your move at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Get in touch with us when you have your moving date to get on our schedule.

  • Will my estimate cost any money?

    No. Travel costs to your site for the estimate survey are covered by us.

  • How much will it cost me per hour?

    Get in touch with us for an estimate. Varsity Moving charges a base hourly rate with a 3-hour minimum. Depending on the location, other travel fees could be associated with the move.

  • Will you move the stuff into my garage too?

    Yes. 

  • Do you move kitchen/laundry appliances?

    Varsity Moving will move any appliance. They do have to be disconnected. We do not reconnect them. Water lines, specifically.

  • Do you move large heavy items, like pianos, hot tubs, or treadmills?

    Yes! At Varsity Moving, we are piano, organ, and antique specialists. Get in touch with us for more information.

  • We have a gun safe; do you move those?

    We move gun safes depending on the size and weight Get in touch with us for more information.

  • I have hardwood floors; what steps do you take to ensure they won't get scratched?

    Varsity Moving has runners we put down over the floors to protect them.

  • Do you tear down/set up beds?

    Yes! Whatever we take apart, our team will put back together at the new location.

  • Do I have to empty the dresser drawers?

    Clothing and linens can be left in drawers. We ask that you remove anything breakable or valuable.
